Quoted from above: In 1981, Lovelace (now called Linda Marchiano after her second marriage) published Ordeal, which revealed her career had been a catalogue of violent physical and sexual abuse and that every interview and public appearance had been scripted by the sadistic Traynor. She claimed that he had forced her at gunpoint into a life of prostitution and pornography. "When you see the movie Deep Throat," she told an interviewer that year, "you are watching me being raped. It is a crime that movie is still showing; there was a gun to my head the entire time."Former Porn Star Linda Lovelace Dies Aged 53

COSBY: You talk about your first encounter with sex. And I was astounded, Traci, when I read this. At the age of 10. Tell us what happened.
LORDS: Well, I grew up in a small town in Ohio, and when I was 10 years old, I was raped by a high school boy that was about 16. And from there, my mother had an older boyfriend that molested me, so my entire childhood was really shaped by these really traumatic sexual experiences, which ultimately led me to the streets of Hollywood and to porn. She has written an autobiography, Traci Lords: Underneath It All.
